Dear Marianne van Velzen, I am enjoying reading your book "Bomber Boys" on my way to and from work at the moment. In my spare time for the past 4 weeks I have been researching to Danes born on Java who became Dutch citizens to become pilots in KNIL just before world war 2. Their Names are Frithiof and Gunnar Olsen. So I guess you can imagine my surprise this morning reaching chapter 22 and suddenly reading about Lt. Olsen and a secret mission to Dutch New Guinea. I guess the chapter build on real happenings. So I will be very pleased if you can tell me the search and how to find it as I am very eager to read it. I am looking forward to hearing from you. I was referred to your book "Bomber Boys" by Peter Dunn's website and will be ordering a copy for myself and my sister. Our father flew with No. 18 from 1943 to 1945 which led to a career with KLM. When I was 2 we left Holland and came to Los Angeles, California where one of his war buddies lived and sponsored us. I'm looking forward to reading "Bomber Boys" and believe this is a great tribute to those men. Thank you!
